Original envelopes with printed text and/or graphics include: 1886 Allegheny Base Ball Club (forerunner to Pittsburgh Base ball Club), 1889 Cincinnati Base Ball Club, 1887 Cincinnati Base Ball Club, 1894 New York Base Ball Club (w/ Polo Grounds scene), 1890 Pittsburgh Base Ball Club, Exposition Park" and 1889 "H.B. Phillips, Mgr. of Allegheny Base Ball Club". Lot also includes 1882 cover with hand drawn baseball scene, postmarked from Pittsburgh, Pa. Includes handwritten letter w/ baseball content indicating it could possibly have been sent by a member of the Pittsburgh Base Ball Club. All covers have been opened at the right edge and show light to moderate handling wear. Includes letter of provenance from Peggy Steele: Range VG-EX
