Description: Van Lingle Mungo's 1931 Brooklyn Robins belt buckle and George Burke real photo postcard. Mungo's ornate brass belt buckle was issued to him in his rookie season in the big leagues. Features various design elements including his raised initials "VLM", enameled Robins bird logo, and decorative figural baseball in relief bearing his number "33" surrounded by the words "Base Ball Club" set in enameling and dated "1931". Accompanying postcard features real George Burke photo on front picturing Mungo in Brooklyn uniform. Back is unused with Geo. Burke stamp. Includes letter of provenance from the family of V.L.
