Description: Fred Haney's Los Angeles/California Angels presentation desk set and collection of (5) team auto. baseballs. Marble based desk set was presented to Haney upon his retirement from the Angels. It includes a metal calendar, pen and baseball holder that supports a baseball signed by (35) Angels staff members. An engraved plaque on the base reads, "In Grateful Appreciation for Eight Wonderful Years, Your Angels Staff". Two of the prongs on the baseball holder have been repaired. Also included is a collection of Angels team signed baseballs that includes 1965 (Los Angeles): EX-MT; (2) 1973 incl. Ryan, F. Robinson: both EX/MT-NM; 1974 incl. Ryan, F. Robinson: EX-MT; and 1976 incl. Dick Williams, Ryan, Remy: EX. Also included is an 8"x10" photo of Haney and a colleague with a cake celebrating the birth of the Angels franchise. Includes LOA from JSA (baseballs) and letter of provenance from the Haney family.
