Description: 1926 Army vs. Navy football game grouping to include panoramic photograph, program, ticket and usher's pass. Significant quartet of items relating to one of the more notable games played in the classic Army vs. Navy tradition. The game was played in Chicago before a crowd of more than 100,000 fans who also witnessed the field being formally dedicated "Soldier's Field" in honor of the servicemen who had lost their lives in World War I. The lot includes an original matte finish panoramic photograph taken from an end zone vantage point picturing thousands of fans watching the game in progress. Titled and dated at the bottom left along with a stamping by noted photography studio Kaufmann & Fabry Co., Chicago. Image quality remains outstanding with perfect contrast. The photo has a small 1 1/2" tear at top border and a larger 3 1/2" tear along the bottom edge, both of which are visible only upon close inspection and could be easily mended: EX-MT (with note to tears). Other items include a game program picturing a colorful game scene on the front cover along with portrait images of President Coolidge and V. President Dawes.
