Description: Rare John L. Sullivan painted tin advertising sign c. 1910. Large 17"x23" color sign advertises "Hohenadel Beer" picturing Sullivan in his classic boxing pose. Clean overall example for the issue with some minimal paint scratches mostly in the background and some general light age wear incl. a few dings to the edges. Marked "American Art Works Inc." on the original backboard: EX-EX/MT
