Superb, slightly off-white Giles NL ball from BrooklynÆs greatest season is signed by (23) members of the World Champion Dodgers including Robinson, Campanella (MVP), Newcombe, Koufax, Erskine, Furillo, Alston, Kellert, Zimmer, Labine, Spooner, Gilliam, Black, Roebuck, Walker, and Howell. ONLY Reese and Snider are clubhouse signed. Blue ink signatures range from 6-8 out of 10 with the majority ranking 7-8. In 1955, the Dodgers pulled off their first and only World Series victory, finally defeating their cross-town rivals, the New York Yankees, to whom they had lost in 5 previous World Series appearances.
