Description: 1950 Whitey Ford New York Yankees World Series ring. Finely crafted 1950 Yankees ring commissioned by Whitey Ford from Herf Jones Co. c.1960-70s. The ring was fashioned in the exact manner as the original 1950 Yankees World Series ring, which was stolen from Whitey Ford many years earlier. 14K gold ring has an inset diamond of approx. .25 carats surrounded by "New York Yankees World Champions" raised lettering. The Yankees logo is surrounded by laurel decor in relief on both side panels with "1950" in raised numerals. "Whitey Ford" is engraved in block lettering on the interior ring band along with "HJ-14K". Size 10 1/2. High quality ring representing the Yankees World Series victory over the Philadelphia Phillies. Includes letter of provenance from Whitey Ford: NM-MT
