Description: Estate collection of early baseball candy cards in their original scrapbook album. Vintage scrapbook style album consisting of (7) pages (no cover, pages are loose) to which have been affixed a fine collection of period baseball candy cards. Cards include: 1909 E95 Philadelphia Caramel Ty Cobb, Frank Chance, Eddie Plank, Chief Bender, and Christy Mathewson; 1909-11 E90-1 American Caramel Ty Cobb, Cy Young, Eddie Plank, Nap Lajoie, Hughie Jennings, Frank Baker, and Sam Crawford; and 1910 E96 Philadelphia Caramel Nap Lajoie and Fred Merkle. The cards have all been spot glued to the album pages in the period and could be removed by a professional restorer if so desired. Grading ranges from GD-EX/MT with the majority grading VG or better NOT including the factor of being affixed to the album pages.
