Description: Scarce Pittsburgh Pirates 1901-1925 National League Championship reunion auto. baseball. Lightly toned Heydler NL baseball signed by (34) members of the Pittsburgh Pirates NL Championship teams from 1901 and 1925 during a reunion held to honor the two NL pennant winning teams. Signatures include Honus Wagner, Jack Chesbro (extremely scarce), Fred Clarke, Pie Traynor, Bill McKechnie, KiKi Cuyler, Charles Phillippe, and Babe Adams. Sigs range from 3-8 out of 10 with the Wagner/Chesbro side panel remaining fairly strong overall. Jack Chesbro signatures are extraordinarily rare as he died in 1931 at the age 57 and was not elected to the Hall of Fame until 1946. Highly desirable autographed baseball with direct provenance to a Hall of Fame member who managed the 1925 team.
