Description: Football figural candy container c.1910-20. Very fine candy container in the shape of a period football player, which is depicted in full uniform with a dog eared style helmet, quilted pants, and miniature leather belt. The head is made of hand painted bisque porcelain with intricate detail. The arm joints are loose and there have been a few small repairs to the toe areas of the shoes. The body has also been adhered together at the neck where the candy receptacle is located. 9" tall: EX
