Description: Fine Bernie Parent Phila. Flyers home jersey c.1976-79. White mesh jersey with orange and black trim retains its original Flyers logo on front with #1 on both sleeves. Back of the jersey has "Parent" on a white nameplate above the original orange/black on white #1. Shirt exhibits excellent usage incl. a few stains, light interior pilling, slight red residue on the back from the goal post paint, and general wear incl. wash and usage. Parent has signed the jersey on the reverse. During the mid 1970s, Parent set the standard by which goalies are measured, capturing virtually all available honors such as the Vezina trophy and the Conn Smythe trophy for the 1973-74 season.
