Description: Eddie Cicotte auto. govt. postcard. Postmarked Jan. 1952, govt. postcard is signed on the reverse in blue ink by Black Sox member Eddie Cicotte. Signature rates 9/10 out of 10. In the first inning of Game #1 of the 1919 World Series, Cicotte made the fateful and historic decision to hit the first batter for the Reds while pitching.
