Description: Enormous 1925 Washington Senators team photograph. Beautiful original sepia tone image taken on the lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C. picturing the American League Champion Senators posed with President Calvin Coolidge. The players are identified at the top right including Johnson, Rice, Harris, Griffith, Goslin, Covaleskie, and Altrock. The image measures an imposing 22"x40" in its original black painted wooden frame. Overall condition remains superb with original contrast and clarity with some light wear to the edges/corners. The photo was believed to have once hung in the White House itself or Clark Griffith's office. Period images of this size are exceedingly scarce with the offered example being the only one that we have encountered: EX-MT
