Description: Joe DiMaggio auto. original artwork by Armando Delgado c.1990. Striking original artwork executed in bohemia graphite pencil depicts Joe DiMaggio's timeless swing. Joe DiMaggio signed the barrel of the bat in blue sharpie; the artist, Armando Delgado, signed at the bottom margin. Delgado is a noted sports artist whose works have been exhibited in several national sports Hall of Fame institutions. Around 1990, Delgado befriended Joe DiMaggio and was asked to create the offered artwork with Joe's guidance. The prints made from this original art were extraordinarily limited. Very fine piece of original art which truly captures the essence of DiMaggio's classic batting style; 16"x24" matted and framed. The piece is being offered for the first time publicly directly by the artist and will include a letter of provenance along with LOA from James Spence Authentication (DiMaggio signature): NM
