Description: Imperial size 1925 Pittsburgh Pirates team photograph from the collection of Johnny Gooch. Huge 20"x28" matted and framed sepia tone image pictures the World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates posed at Forbes Field. Players include McKechnie, Traynor, Carey, and Cuyler. Marked by photographer R.R. Hay at the bottom right. The image quality is of the finest for its size with exceptional detail and contrast. With the exception of two very minor surface wrinkles, the photo remains in nearly as issued condition. These oversized team photographs were given to the members of the Pirates with the offered example being one of only a few surviving copies: NM
