Description: Babe Ruth single signed baseball with photographic provenance c.1930. Light to moderately toned Barnard AL baseball is signed on the sweet spot by Babe Ruth in blue fountain pen. Signature rates 7 out of 10. Inscribed in period ink neatly under the signature, "St. Petersburg Florida March 4th 1930 Yankee Training Camp". The offered baseball was in fact signed at the Yankee Spring Training camp by Ruth and is accompanied by a charming period 3 1/2"x6" sepia tone photograph of Ruth signing the offered baseball. The ball also includes its original box which has been affixed to a piece of wood on its interior for support.
