Description: Rare 1910 Pittsburgh Pirates "Nuf Ced" pennant. Early black and gold pennant has a crossed bat and ball baseball graphic at the left side with "Pittsburg Champions-1910 Nuf Ced" lettering. The pennant remains attached to its original wooden stick. Oversized pennant measures 31" long remaining completely intact with some general soiling and two very minor moth holes at the point area. The pennant likely refers to Pittsburgh's chances for a repeat of their 1909 World Championship, which, of course was not to be as the Cubs took the NL pennant in 1910 only to lose to the Phila. Athletics in the World Series. Major League pennants of any type from this era are seldom offered in any form with the offered exemplar being the first of its type that we have encountered: EX
