Description: Rudolph Von Ohl 1929 Philadelphia Athletics World Series ring. Original 14K gold ring presented to Phila. Athletics traveling secretary and business manager Rudolph Von Ohl. Exhibiting beautiful craftsmanship, the ring has raised decoration of an elephant holding a singular diamond alongside of a globe design with "Champions" inscribed on the front. "29" numerals are found under the diamond setting. The interior ring band has an impressed "10K J.E. Cald. Co." stamping along with "Rudolph Von Ohl" inscription. The interior ring band shows a minute line which evidences a slight size adjustment at some point in the period. By all standards the 1929 Philadelphia Athletics were one of the greatest teams in baseball history. Their blend of powerful hitting and exceptional pitching remains to date one of the most potent that the Major Leagues have ever seen, with a lineup that included five future HOF'ers and the winningest manager in Major League history.
