Description: 1941 Joe DiMaggio trophy plaque. Impressive shield shaped mahogany plaque measures 19" tall with an affixed silverplated placard on the front inscribed to DiMaggio. The plaque was given to DiMaggio in honor of his amazing 1941 season and lifetime baseball accomplishments by Jimmy DeMonte and the baseball fans of Hartford, CT. Retains its original International Silver Co. metal label on the reverse. The silverplated plaque is formed with a raised center having some slight indentations.
