Description: Rare oversized original photograph of Babe Ruth and Gary Cooper c.1940's. Huge 10 1/2"x13 1/2" large format black and white image of Ruth coaching Gary Cooper on how to hold a bat during the filming of "The Pride of the Yankees". Cooper bears a striking resemblance to Gehrig as he holds a Babe Ruth professional model bat while Ruth looks on from behind. Stamped by photographer Hal McAlpin on the reverse. Very fine original large format image of the highest quality for the period. Includes letter of provenance from Hillerich & Bradsby Co.: NM
