Description: Fine Honus Wagner professional model baseball bat c.1921-31. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 41.2oz. Very high quality bat shows strong usage incl. repaired handle crack, heavy surface residue, barrel wear incl. cleat marks, and period finish nail repair to some checking at the back of the barrel. Remnants of an original shipping label and faint vestiges of factory side writing are visible on the barrel but remain indiscernible. Given the label dating, the bat could not have been used by Wagner during his playing career and was most likely used while he was a coach.
