Eack sock is constructed of purple and blue wool with player numbers "39" and "4" chain stitched in the stirrup area. The socks each exhibit evident usage and originate from former Brooklyn Dodger player and Minor League manager Ed Head. The lot also includes a pair of unmarked blue wool socks with white stripes which are also likely Brooklyn Dodgers related.
