Description: Rare "Billiard Experts of the World" color lithographic display piece. One of the cleanest exemplars of this highly sought after period display that we have encountered retaining its brilliant original color. The medium is a heavy stock fiberboard issued by the Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co. picturing the greatest billiards experts of the world incl. Willie Hoppe of New York. The piece presents beautifully despite a few players having some light inpainting, a small ding at the top edge, and a professionally repaired surface scratch at the left side. Dated 1909 at the bottom with some minor moisture toning and the bottom edge: EX-EX/MT
