Description: Fine 1940 Bucky Walters Cin. Reds World Series ring. Rare 14K gold ring presented to Walters as a key member of the 1940 World Champion Reds by the Commissioner of Baseball. Side panels of the ring each have inlaid red enamelwork Reds "C" logo with crossed bat and ball decor beneath. Top of the ring has gold inlaid "World Champions Cincinnati Reds" inset into blue enamelwork surrounding a red field with inset solitaire diamond. Ring exhibits some usage wear to the side panels including some chipping to the red enamelwork. Inscribed on interior ring band, "Presented by Baseball Commissioner to Wm. Walters".
