Description: Pair of fine April 19, 1951 Mickey Mantle original photographs. Both photographs originated from Mantle's personal photo album. Crisp black and white photos measure 6 1/2"x9 1/2" and 8"x9 1/2" by Life Magazine photographer George Silk. Includes superb image of Mantle crossing home plate and photo taken from right field as Mantle makes a throw in #6 jersey. Each is dated April 19, 1951 (Mantle's first game was April 18th) and stamped by the photographer on back. Includes copy of the original Mantle family letter: EX-MT
