Description: Sports Illustrated Robert Riger, pencil on strathmore paper from Jan. 19, 1959 issue in the article "Here's Why it was the Best Football Game Ever". Four great drawings depicting the fierce action between the New York football Giants and the Baltimore Colts in their landmark game. 6" x 11" plus assort. sizes. Artists working with Sports Illustrated often created a series of drawings on one board. For purposes of describing these lots, individual drawings on the same board have been counted separately when totalling the number of illustrations in the lot.
