Description: Rare 1888 A16 Allen & Ginter "Worlds Champions" album. Rare and desirable Allen & Ginter produced premium features images of all (50) cards in the noted N28 set with (10) baseball players, including Cap Anson, Mike Kelly, John Clarkson, Charles Comiskey, Tim Keefe, Jack Glasscock, and John M. Ward. One of the most visually appealing tobacco related pieces from the time period and among the most sought after of its type. Binding rope (included) is no longer attached to the album and the covers and interior pages are loose (though all are present). Cover is torn at the binding holes with a chip in the upper left corner. Back cover has a large crease and interior pages are clean, most with light corner wear.
