Description: Rookie season Willie Mays autographed photograph c.1951 (PSA/DNA Type I). Crisp sepia toned 8"x10" photograph showing Mays during his Rookie season has been signed "Best Wishes Willie Mays, N.Y. Giants, To (Twig)." Fountain pen signature was done in the period and rates 7-7/8 out of 10. The photo is classified as "Type I" by PSA and is the same image used for a number of cards produced in the period including his 1952 Berk Ross, 1953-54 Briggs Meats, 1954 Stahl-Meyer, and several PM10 stadium pins.
