Description: 1989-90 Bill Laimbeer Detroit Pistons professional model warm-up jacket with 1990-91 pants. Short sleeve white jacket with red and blue accent strips has a "Detroit Pistons" logo patch on front. The name "Bill" is screened on left front chest and number "40" is on the sleeve in blue on red tackle twill. "Laimbeer" name is sewn on across the upper back. MacGregor Sand-Knit tag in the collar notes size (48) and there is an adjacent "Designed & Tailored Exclusively..." tag. A pair of embroidered strip tags read "89" (year) and "3"LB" (custom hem). Pants are by Champion (size 38) with similar "Designed & Tailored..." tag. A blank tag is sewn in on which player number "40" is written in vintage black marker. A series of embroidered strip tags denote year ("90") and player specific inseam/length. Strong use is evident throughout with screened on name on front of jacket having some loss (second "L" mostly gone) and the pants showing minor discoloration. Originally obtained by a collector who received items directly from players and team employees in the period.
