Description: Lou Gehrig "pro stock/retail model" baseball bat c.1930s - an exceptional quality bat and similar in many respects to that which he would have used. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Gehrig facsimile signature in the barrel measures 34" long and weighs 34.7 ounces. Outstanding display value with bold and well defined markings and there has been a repair to the handle/knob. The bat is similar in many respects to a bat which Gehrig would have used however it has been determined by PSA - John Taube to be a "pro stock/retail model." It has previously been offered as a Gehrig game bat complete with MEARS documentation (their authentication label remains affixed) however in the interest of it being properly presented going forward we will not be including that paperwork: EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$3,000)
