Description: Brown's Tennessee Rats real photo postcard c.1912 Choice sepia toned image of the uniformed team of African American players with a few wearing "BTR" uniforms. The Rates were run by W.A. Brown and while not considered a "formal" Negro League team they are known to have barnstormed from around 1910 to the mid 1920s. Outstanding eye appeal with some mild handling wear. Postmarked "1912" with handwritten address and sentiment on back: GDEstimated Price Range: ($300-$500)
