Description: "Brown's Tennessee Rats" real photo postcard c.1910s. Choice sepia toned image of the uniformed team of African American players. The Rates were run by W.A. Brown and while not considered a "formal" Negro League team they are known to have barnstormed from around 1910 to the mid 1920s. Outstanding eye appeal with some mild handling wear. Postmarked "1910" on both front and back and there is a handwritten address and sentiment on back. The stamp has fallen off: SGC 1 PREstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
