Description: Tommy Byrne professional model baseball bat, glove, belt, and cleats c.1940-50s (Byrne Collection). Quartet of game used items from the personal collection of former New York Yankees pitcher Tommy Byrne to include: 1) Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with block letter "Byrne" stamping on barrel, fine use: EX; 2) Left hand throwing model fielder's glove, heavy use with replaced web and leather backstrap areas, #23 written in ink on back: PR-GD; 3) Brown leather belt retaining its original metal buckle, general use: VG; 4) Pair of black leather model cleats showing strong use retaining MacGregor/Goldsmith manufacturer's label (c.1946-52).
