Description: Fine 1999 Bill Russell Boston Celtics Tribute autographed presentational leather bomber jacket by Jeff Hamilton. High quality custom made leather bomber jacket as presented to Bill Russell for the historic 1999 tribute. The ceremonies were held at the Boston Garden to honor Russell's iconic career and re-retire his number 6 into the rafters at the historic stadium. Large "6" on the back with "Tribute" titling and "11 Championships" patch on left sleeve. Signed on front by Russell in silver sharpie adding "#6" inscription. The1999 tribute was a historic event attended by a number of basketball icons including Russell's long time court nemesis and friend Wilt Chamberlain. Impressive and exceptional quality presentational garment piece from one of the more memorable ceremonial moments of Russell's career. Jacket includes its original Jeff Hamilton felt sheath.
