Description: Bill Russell autographed and inscribed large format photographic display by Fred Kaplan c.1960s. Unique large format 18"x24" original image taken by noted sports photographer Fred Kaplan capturing Russell leaping towards the basket to score against the New York Knicks. Image quality for its size is particularly fine with the image having been mounted on board. Signed and uniquely inscribed at top in gold paint pen, "Bill Russell up, up, and away!". Photo has some damage to a few areas of the perimeter and a horizontal surface scratch at bottom third. Photographer Fred Kaplan has signed at lower right.
