Description: 1957 Bill Russell Sportsmanship Award from the San Francisco Junior Chamber of Commerce. Walnut wooden plaque with marquetry inlaid décor displays an inscribed brass façade to Russell in "Recognition of the Accomplishments and Contributions for San Francisco in the Field of Athletics". Embossed silverplated basketball is found at the top of the plaque. Some surface scratching is evident to the placard with an area of finish wear to the center. 15" tall. Very fine presentational award as given to Russell in celebration of his 1955-56 NCAA championship with the San Francisco Dons.
