Description: Rare Boston Celtics Six Time World Championship presentational cordials set by Gorham Co, NY c.1963-64 Fine quality presentational liquor set as presented to Bill Russell in honor of the Boston Celtics sixth World Championship season. Circular teak tray features inset sterling silver medallion with raised lettering, "Boston Celtics World Champions 6 Times" surrounding a central inlaid enamelwork green clover. Tray perimeter rim and the six diminutive cups are all sterling silver and marked by Gorham Co, NY. Expected light surface wear to the tray with a few cups having relative indentations. Tray measures 6 1/2" in diameter, cups are 2" tall. Very uncommon presentational set as presented to the most significant member of the Boston Celtics 1950-60s dynasty teams.
