Description: Poignant 1971 Jerry West autographed letter to Bill Russell with outstanding content (PSA/DNA). March 25, 1971 dated typed letter has been signed "Jerry" in ink rating 7/8 out of 10. Fine content reading in part, "The admiration and respect you have earned from players and fans throughout the League is just incredible and you know how privileged I feel to have known and played against you..." Russell had appeared at "Jerry West Night" which was hosted by the Lakers in 1971 and made a touching statement in honor of his long time rival: "The greatest honor a man can have is the respect and friendship of his peers. You have that more than any man I know … If I could have one wish granted, it would be that you would always be happy."
