Description: Outstanding 1980 Mike Schmidt autographed Championship season professional model baseball bat (PSA "GU 10"). Louisville Slugger 125 model K55 bat with "Schmidt" block lettered in the barrel measures 35.375" long and weighs 34.3oz. Number "20" is written on the knob in period marker. Uncracked with outstanding use evident throughout including ball contact and stitch marks covering the hitting surface. Ball marks include black ink transfers and there are scattered red and blue rack streaks. A light coat of pine tar appears on the handle. Signed "Mike Schmidt" in marker rating 8 out of 10. Factory ordering records confirm that this bat was part of a lone order, matching these specifications, which was shipped on June 28, 1980. One of the better Schmidt bats we have offered in many years dating definitively to the Phillies 1980 World Series Championship season.
