Description: Rare Early 1960s Kahn's Wieners Pittsburgh Pirates advertising display. Large promotional poster done in the period to promote the Kahn's line of hot dogs and luncheon meats and a series of now highly collectible cards (referred to in the text as an "autographed action photo") that were inserted into their product. Several Pirates players are shown including Roberto Clemente and Bill Mazeroski and both Bob Friend and Elroy Face have signed the piece beside their respective images (marker, 9 out of 10). Framed to 36"x30" (visible area approx. 27.5"x21.5") with creasing, wrinkles, a small tear to the center of the top edge, and other scattered wear. Notably rare (this being the first example we can recall seeing) and an outstanding display piece despite noted condition issues.
