Uniform Player's contract as executed between Bench and the Reds for his services during the 1968 season is dated September 5, 1967. Signed by Bench ("Johnny Lee Bench"), N.L. President Warren Giles, and Reds G.M. Bob Howsam. Ink signatures rate 8 to 9 out of 10. Typical fold lines and a hint of light wear. Includes the original letter of transmittal which is on Reds stationery and likewise signed by Howsam and letter of provenance from Johnny Bench.
