Lot Number: 150

Description: Extremely scarce uncancelled 1933 George C. Miller Ivy Andrews. The 1933 R300 George C. Miller card set is one of the more obscure and seldom offered series of the 1930s period. As advertised on the back of the cards a complete set of (32) cards may be redeemed for a special prize. As seen with other card issues of the period, the companies of issuance often times would make one particular card nearly impossible to obtain in order to limit the amount of prizes or redemption awards to be presented. Ivy Andrews may not be regaled for his playing career but has been cemented in hobby history for that precise reasoning. Noted rarity is believed to be one of only two or three uncancelled examples which have been authenticated/encapsulated by SGC or PSA and is the only which we can cite having been offered in many years. Heavy wear throughout includes creasing, wrinkles, and rounded corners however the likeness remains instantly recognizable. Although population reports list a total of (6) uncancelled copies (4 PSA, 2 SGC) we suspect this number might be slightly inflated as cards of this nature tend to migrate between grading company holders to suit the taste of the owner. An opportunity to acquire one of the genre's most storied scarcities which is not likely to present itself again in the near future. First example in any condition that we have encountered in our 30 year company history: SGC "A" Authentic
