Includes April 23, 1986 dated letter on stationary signed (in type) "from your team" with choice content related to their 1985 AFC Championship season; February 4, 1987 dated contract ("Employment Agreement") which is signed "Raymond Berry" on the first page (there are handwritten notes in a few places, last page is unsigned suggesting this was Berry's file copy or an early draft); pair of red rimmed Cazal sunglasses which are the same/similar to those which Berry can be seen wearing while Coaching the Patriots; red New England Patriots hat by Sports Specialties showing use/wear along with an 8"x10" photo of Berry wearing a similar hat; heavy wool cold weather hat with Patriots logo; well worn blue shirt with the sleeves trimmed down (size 50) with "Raymond Berry" autograph in the collar (very faint outline of number "79" on the back); red wool blanket which has applied "AFC Champs...Patriots" text and logo; 8"x10" photo signed by then team owner Bill Sullivan with heartfelt sentiment; Berry signed 16"x20" photo; and (5) binders and compiled/used by Berry while a Coach with the team including both typed and handwritten text/notations and plays. Subjects, as noted on binder exteriors, include 1984 Defense, 1985 Season, Special Plays (incl. Flutie Punt), Game Comments, and Miscellaneous. These offer a fascinating glimpse into the workings of a noted Coach who brought the team to a Super Bowl appearance and show noteworthy attention to detail. Varying degrees/types of wear throughout.
