Description: Exhibit postcard vending machine c.1930s-40s. Wooden counter/table top vending machine would dispense a postcard upon deposit of one cent. Lower cabinet portion has (2) coin slots (both in working order) and there is an "Exhibit Supply Co." marked display in the window featuring a pair of cards incl. Pee Wee Reese. The rarely seen marquee on top has a similar display but includes a trio of postcards related to women from the period. The unit stands 30" tall with 18"x11" footprint. Mild scattered wear consistent with long term use and storage includes some pitting and chipping with the most notable being a small section of wood missing on the front (4" long) between the coin receptacles. Surfaces appear to have most of their original finish but it is possible that it was touched up in a few areas. Wood on the back of the marquee is replaced.
