Description: Important 1954 Hank Aaron Rookie season autographed Milwaukee Braves contract. Significant "Uniform Player's Contract" as executed between Aaron and the Braves retaining his services for the 1954 season has been signed "Henry L. Aaron" who handwrote his address below. Also signed by National League President Warren Giles and Braves G.M. John Quinn. All are done in period ink/fountain pen rating 7 (Giles) to 9/10 out of 10. Document itself has light toning and the slightest hint of wear. One of the most celebrated players of the 20th Century, Aaron debuted for the Braves on April 13th (just one day after this contract is dated) and would spend the better part of (23) years with the club. Playing in the face of adversity for much of that time, he did so with poise and grace and at the time of his retirement he was baseball's all-time leader in home runs and has become one of its greatest ambassadors. Seldom do contracts of this level of historical import that the offered document carries become available and this example is certainly one of the most significant that we have been privileged to handle. Includes full LOA from JSA: Sigs. EX-NM, Contract EX/MT
