Description: Lou Boudreau professional model baseball bat c.1943-49. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Boudreau facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 31.6oz. Model number "K55" has been factory stamped in the knob. Uncracked with evident usage wear including ball and stitch marks which are concentrated on the upper hitting surface. The surface has some mild toning and spotting to areas throughout. A rare game bat dating to the period in which he had earned a batting title, numerous All-Star Game appearances, and the 1948 American League MVP award; the same season in which he led the Cleveland Indians to a World Series Championship.
