Description: Johnny Vander Meer endorsed Goldsmith baseball glove box and glove c.1930s. Attractive store display box with upper surface of the blue lid hosting a full length image, Vander Meer facsimile signature, and Goldsmith Company name. The front skirt likewise advertises the product inside. Mild wear to box includes some very minor spotting/discoloration to upper surface which has a pencil notation written in one corner. There are some light stress wrinkles near corners/edges and a touch of other light wear. Glove (model AG65, different from that advertised on box) is Vander Meer endorsed and displays mild usage wear with a well defined facimile signature.
