Description: 1943 "Satchel Paige Day" Negro League program. Original scorecard issued for July 18, 1943 games which were played at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Paige is pictured on the cover in Kansas City Monarchs uniform and (4) players from the participating teams are shown on back. Unscored with pre-printed lineups for a Birmingham Black Barons vs. Cincinnati Clowns and New York Cubans vs. Memphis Red Sox double-header. Wear throughout includes chipping and small tears, a larger tear which has been professionally repaired from the inside, horizontal crease, some additional creases/wrinkles, and some light moisture staining.
