Description: Scarce Warren Spahn Boston Braves professional model hat c.1947-1952. Original navy blue hat with red bill retaining its original white felt "B" on the front. Wilson tagging remains inside the interior leather head band along with "Spahn" chain stitched in red. Hat exhibits very fine use overall inclusive of perspiration residue. Interior leather head band has some losses to one area which appear to possibly have been done by Spahn himself from normal game use. General condition is very strong with a surface scratch to the top of the bill. Exceptional piece of Spahn game equipment which was the only Boston Braves hat within the collection.
