Background field consists of (102) diamonds ranging in size from .003 to .04 carat weight along with "Pistons" team name across the front. "2004 World Champions" lettering is found at the top and bottom margins with (14) additional princess cut diamonds on either side margin. One side panel displays "Fowlkes The Right Way" with "24" and a basketball shaped emblem. The other panel has "Detroit Going to Work Pistons 4 Lakers 1" along with an enamelwork NBA logo. Marked 14K Intergold on the interior ring band. The ring retains its original lidded wooden box with inscribed metal placard on the lid.
